Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-researched therapy that helps people process difficult experiences that may continue to affect their emotional wellbeing. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, or distressing memories, EMDR can help reduce their impact and support lasting healing.

Using guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR helps the brain reprocess experiences that may have become "stuck," allowing them to be stored in a healthier and less distressing way. Many people find that memories become less overwhelming and that they gain a greater sense of calm, perspective, and resilience.

EMDR is provided in a safe, supportive environment and tailored to your individual needs and goals, helping you move forward with greater confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Who is it for?

You may benefit from EMDR if you find yourself "stuck" in the effects of pasts experiences, reacting strongly to

certain triggers or struggling to move forward despiste your best efforts.

EMDR may be helpful for people who are experiencing the effects of past or present distressing experiences,  including:

  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress (PTSD)
  • Childhood trauma or adverse life experiences
  • Anxiety, panic attacks, and excessive worry
  • Grief and loss
  • Low self-esteem and negative self-beliefs
  • Stress related to relationships, work, or major life changes
  • Distressing memories that feel difficult to move past
  • Phobias and certain fears
  • Experiences of abuse, bullying, neglect, or violence

Play Therapy is based on the understanding that play is a child's natural language.

Through play, children can express thoughts, feelings, experiences, and needs that may be difficult to put into words.

In a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment, Play Therapy provides opportunities for children to explore emotions, relationships, challenges, and life experiences at their own pace.

Through the therapeutic relationship, children develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills.

Play Therapy is a non-directive approach, meaning the child leads the process while the therapist follows and supports their expression and exploration. Children may use toys, creative arts, sand tray, storytelling, role play, and other expressive materials to communicate in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them.

As children process experiences, make sense of emotions, and explore new ways of responding through play, they develop the internal resources needed to navigate their world with greater confidence, connection, and wellbeing.

Who is it for?

For children who have experienced trauma or had their world ‘shaken’ and are in need to build resilience, a feeling of control, a more positive and accepting self-concept and a greater sense of self trust.
